These are a quite superb pair of spelter figures of the medieval male figure with an axe and a female court figurine ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the19th century.

Dating about c1890s.

Of a Europeanorigin.

Spelter medieval figurines.

Male in medieval dress isportrayed with an axe.

Female court figurineis portrayed with a raisedhand.

Both are mounted onto the decorative bases which have been mounted onto the wooden circularstepped bases.

Each has an overall height of about 9.75inches.

Max dia of bases of about 4.5inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition to both is excellent and both are without any major blemish except:

female medieval court figurine has damage to her fingers where she would have held an item using both hands.
