This is a superb pair of Staffordshire figures of Rebecca & Eliezer at the well of which:

During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the 19th century.

Date about c1890s.

Staffordshire, Englandorigin.

Pottery, ceramic.

Awonderful portrayal of the pair of: Rebecca & Eliezer at the well.

Both portrayed with a water jug on top of the wells.

In wonderful dress attires with the wonderful and intricate facial detail.

A left and a right.

Mounted onto the decorative oval hollowed bases with the streams to the fronts.

Each has an overall height of about 8 & 7.25inches.

Hollow bases with overall sizes ofabout 4.5 x 3inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is excellent visually and both are without any major blemish except:

the base of Rebecca underneath is broken centrally.

All as perpictures.
