This is a superb pair of Staffordshire royalty figures of The Princess & Prince of Wales on horseback of which:

During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the 19th century.

Date about c1890s.

A left and right.

The royalty figures on horseback holding the reins.

Each with a wonderful portrayal.

Staffordshire, Englandorigin.

Well coloured..

The royalty figures of The Princess & Prince of Wales portrayed on horseback which are mounted on the decorative coloured bases with text.

Intricate facial details.

Each has an overall height of about 8inches.

Size of the hollowed base of about 5 x 3inches.

Max overall dias of about 6.5inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is very good and both are not subject to any major blemishes except:

due to age: areas of loss of colour with areas of fine crazing.

a series of fine hairlines under a base.

minor chipping to the base edge under the glaze, therefore from time of manufacture.

With todays modern & advanced restoration techniques, can certainly be improved.
