This is a superb pair of Wedgwood majolica green plates with the sunflowers in the baskets decoration ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed they certainly date from the 19th century.

Date about c1880s.

Underneath each: the incised wedgwood logo.

Of an English origin.

Majolica plates with their wonderful central decoration of:

the sunflowers in the baskets patterns.

Decorative edges.

Each has an overall height of about 1inch.

Each has an overall max dia of about 8.5inches.

Base dias of about 5inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition to the pair is excellent and both are not subject to:

any major blemishes.
