Some distortion to the metalwork due to age.

A lovely, large antique French door dating to the late 19th century.
Made from wood with a gorgeous carved lion\'s head set among scolled decorative motifs.
Stunning carving with good depth, just look at those teeth!Can be used in all manner of ways as part of an exciting French inspired project.

Condition:

A very heavy item.

In good used condition with wear commensurate with its great age.

Some surface wear from over a century of use.

Has not been cleaned or treated.

Fabulous carved lion\'s head.

One of the most beautiful carvings I have seen in many years of searching, just look at those teeth!
This door can be used in all manner of ways as part of an exciting French inspired project.
Condition:
In good general used condition with slight surface wear due to long years of use.

A few old woodworm holes along the left side of the door.
