These are a superb pair of gothic carved wooden oak corbels with the intricate relief carvings of thelion heads of which:

During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the early period of the 19th century.

Date about c1820s.

Of a relief carved gothic corbels of:

the lionheads.

Carved mane surrounding the heads.

Wonderful intricate carving with their superb facial features.

Each corbelhas an overall sizeof about 5 x 3.5inches.

Max depths of about 3.25inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition to both is excellent and both are not subject to:

any major blemishes.

One has chipping to a side edge.
