This is a superb pair of Staffordshire Scottish male & female figurines with the harps which are mounted onto the pedestals at the sides of which:

During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the mid 19th century.

Date about c1850s.

Staffordshire, Englandorigin.

Male & female figurines, both in the wonderful dress attires.

Both wearing caps.

To their sides: a pedestal with the harps.

Intricate facial detailing.

A left and a right.

Mounted on the decorative hollow bases with the gilt band.

Each has an overall height of about 6.75inches.

Size of the hollow bases of about 2.75 x 2inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is:

.excellent and both are not subject to any major blemishes except:

over painting to the harps, therefore both have been subject to professional restoration.

One, male, has had restoration to the base edge by his left boot.

Other base has a small chip to the base edge.

All as perpictures.

Besides being a very collectable pair of mid 19th century, pair of Staffordshire figurines of a male & female with the harps, mounted onto the decorative hollow bases, c1850s, both would also look fabulous displayed.
