This is a superb pair of Staffordshire seated russet red & white spaniel dogs of which:

During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the mid 19th century.

A wonderful portrayal of the seated spaniel dogs with:

the russet red & white decoration and colouring.

A left and a right.

Both are portrayed with the gilt collars & locks.

Each has an overall height of about 4.75inches.

Max basesizes ofabout 3.5 x 2.25inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is:

excellent and both are without major blemishes.

Due to age: minor areas of loss of colouring.

one has a fine hairline under the base with a minor chip to the base edge.
