Description A wonderfulrareearly pair of genuine English antique19th CenturyGeorgian solid sterling silversewing scissors,complete with solid silver blade case,datingfrom around 1825and in excellent condition.Superb quality genuine 185+ year old antique examples, ornately all-over decorated with birds, flowers and foliage and they have fine old Sheffield steel blades which are still very sharp and cut very well. They come with a fine period solid silver blade case, also beautifully decorated and fit over the blades perfectly. There are no added engraved monograms or initials.

Measurements They measure approx 3.75 inches (96mm) in length end to end, x 1.65 inches (42mm) wide.

Hardly any age rusting on the blades either. The silver blade case is also in excellent condition, with no splits or repairs and the blades fit snugly.Superb quality examples and there are no added engraved monograms or initials.
