These are a superb pair of Staffordshire male & female figurines with the calf & dog of which:
During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the mid 19th century.
Date about c1860s.
From the factory of Thomas Parr.
Both are dressed in coloured dress attire with yellow hats.
Male holds a dog with:
the female holding the calf.
Pottery.
A left & a right.
Both are mounted onto the decorative oval bases.
Bocage decoration to the bases and to the rear boughs.
Each has an overall height of about 9.75inches.
Hollowed bases with overall sizes of about 4 x 3.25inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is excellent with no major blemishes.
Due to age: both are subject to rubbing with areas of loss of colour.
Both are subject to minor fine hairlines to the neck areas.

Besides being a very collectable pair of mid 19th century Staffordshire Thomas Parr male & female figurines with the dog & calf, c1840s, both would also look fabulous displayed.
