Superb pair of 19thc Staffordshire white spaniel hearth dogs in sitting pose. No. 2. Dating c.1860\'s.Excellent attention to detail on this pair of hearth dogs. White with gilt decoration and link chain. Bright yellow eyes and orange muzzle with finely painted whiskers and a red mouth. No. 2 impressed to base of each dog.Measures some 9.5\" height.

Condition of this pair is very good and age commensurate with both dogs having age consistent superficial hairlines to the back. Generalised age crazing. Please see all images. All as per images.
