Description Awonderful qualitylarge-sized heavy English antique solid sterling silver \"one pint\" tankard by the famous silversmiths Elkington & Co, in lovely condition and with full English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1936.Handsome sizewith a stunning Georgian shape and with a full one pint capacity. Made fromvery heavy gauge of silver and weighing approx509 grams. Importantly there are no added engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms. Direct from a private estate and ready to be used.

Measurements Great size, measures approx.4.75 inches (120mm) in height, and is 3.95inches (99mm) in diameter across the base, (excluding the handle).

Condition Lovely condition and ready to be used. No splits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs, definitely no leaksand no nasty knocks or dents, just 1 teeny littlepin-head surface dent, really nothing, and would be very hard to dent as the silver is so thick. Handsome Georgian shape and the scrolled silver handleis undamaged. Top quality example and with a very heavy silver weight.Holdsa full onepint. With no added personal engraved inscriptions. Fresh to the market, could do with aquick polishin the recesses. One of the best I have had!
