Description A superbrare genuine English antiqueGeorgian/William IV solid sterling silver & crystal glass travelling lock-down inkwell probably by the silversmith Thomas Diller and with a full set of English silver hallmarks forLondon 1837.Beautiful quality genuine 179 year old example,in reallylovely condition, nice more uncommon circular shape, with its original faceted crystal glass bottle and with a solid silver top, with a hinged silver lid and is complete with its original silver screw-down key. Inside it still has its interior cork seal with securing plate. Direct from a private estate and is fresh to the market.

Date English antique Georgian/William IV solid sterling silver with a full set of silver hallmarks for London 1837(date letter \"B\"). Excellent clear struck marks and includes the Kings head duty stamp of King George the Fourth/William the Fourth. Further silver hallmark on the silver screw key.

MakerSilversmiths initials \"T.D\", (Probably Thomas Diller).

ConditionReallylovely condition,nosplits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs and no nasty knocks or dents. The silver screw key screws up tightly and securely and the crystal glass bottle is also ingreat condition, no nasty chips or hairlines and is nice and clear, no age cloudiness. A beautiful genuine early-dated Georgian/William IV example and a nice more unusual circular shape.Direct from a private estate and fresh to the market.
