Description A superbrare-design English antique solid sterling silver\"double\" stamp case by the silversmiths Ahronsberg Brothers, in excellent clean condition and with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1905.Beautifulqualityoriginal 111 year old silver example, has a slide-action opening and is complete with its original cabochon emerald stone button lid opener. Decorated with attractive foliate leaf engraving and inside still has its original gilding. Has a nice shield cartouche in one corner which has never been used.Complete with a genuine antiquestamp, as it came to me, probably once used by the British Raj in India.

MeasurementsMeasures approx. 2.1 inches (53mm)x 1.5 inches (38mm) and is 3mm deep.

Date English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1905(date letter \"f\"). Also has a \"Patent\" stamp.

Maker Silversmith initials \"A Bros\" (Ahronsberg Brothers).

ConditionExcellent clean condition,with nosplits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs, definitely no wear/pin holes and no knocks or dents, a superb clean example, honestly looks hardly used.The slide-action lid opens and closes tightly and the cabochon emerald stone lid button is definitely original and is undamaged. The interior gilding is also original and virtually all still intact. A stunning rare stamp case and as a bonus there are no added personal engraved inscriptions.
