Description A superblarge heavyantique Georgiansolid sterling silver cream jugby the silversmithsSimon Levy 1818-1828 and with full English silver hallmarks for EXETER 1824.Beautiful qualitygenuine191 year old sterling silver example, in lovely condition,andfrom a scarce assay office which closed in 1882.Handsome size anddecorated with embossed flowers and scrolls and with its original fully gilded interior. Nice and heavy, weighs approx. 149 grams. and there are no added engraved personal inscriptions or monograms.

MeasurementsGreat size, measures approx. 5.55 inches (140mm) inlength, (including handle), x 3.25 inches (80mm) wide and stands 4.2 inches (105mm) in height.

Date Antique Georgian solid sterling silver,with a full set ofEnglish silver hallmarks forEXETER 1824, (date letter \"h\"). Includes the \"castle\" stamp of theExeter assay office and also the Kings head duty mark of King George the Third.

Maker Silversmiths initials \"S.L\", (Simon Levy 1818-1828).

ConditionLovely condition,no splits or cracks and no nasty knocks or dents.
