Description A really fabulousrareScottishantique Georgiansolid sterling silverchamber stick by the silversmith Jonathan Millidge - (1820-1845), in superb clean condition and dating from around 1820.Excellent quality genuine 200 year old example, definitely all matching, decorated with beautiful foliate engraving and importantly it is complete with the original same-dated removable silver candle sconce and also has the original silver candle snuffer suspended from its silver link chain. Fine heavy silver weight, approx 125 grams. Engraved with beautiful period estate crests. Direct from a private estate and a rare find.

Measurements Measures approx 4 inches (103mm), (including ring handle) x 3.4 inches (86mm) and it stands 2.35 inches (60mm) in height.DateScottish antique early 19th Century Georgian solid sterling silver, with Scottishsilver hallmarks including the castle stamp of the Edinburgh assay office, the silver thistle stamp denoting solid sterling silver and the silver duty stamp of King George the Third. No date letter struck which is common on early Scottish silver but 100% guaranteed early 19th Century silver and dating from around 1820. Lovely clear struck matching silver marks on all 3 pieces. 100% guaranteed all matching.Maker Silversmiths initials \"J M.\", (Jonathan Millidge - 1820-1845), stamped on every piece.
Condition Superb clean condition, no splits or solder repairs and no knocks or dents, a really stunninggenuine antique silver example, honestly looks very little used.Definitely all original and complete and very rare to find in this state. Even the silver snuffer chain is original and is undamaged. A real beauty and completely fresh to the market.
