This is a superb Royal Doulton porcelain mug with the nursery rhyme decoration of \"The Cat & the Fiddle\" of which:
During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the art deco period of the c1930s.
Underneath the Royal Doulton logo of the said period.
Wonderful decoration around the circumference with the cat playing the fiddle with the seated laughing dog.

It has an overall height of about 3inches.
Max dia including handle of about 4inches.
Base with an overall dia ofabout 3.25inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is excellent with no major blemishes except:
areas of minor rubbing.
