Description -A solid sterling silver christening mug by Lee & Wigfull.Dated for 1892 and assay for Sheffield.A wonderful Queen Victorian era christening cup which is beautifully decorated with an engraved pattern, stands on a circular pedestal base and has a \"C\" shaped handle.No engraved initials, monograms or inscriptions.A splendid christening mug which would make a perfect gift, ready to be used or would be a superb addition to a collection.
Silver Weight 121 Grams.
The condition is excellent.There are no dents, dings, holes, splits, knocks or repairs to the body or handle.The top rim and bottom are not out off shape in anyway and stands perfectly well with no issues.The mug has no engraved initials, monograms or inscriptions.No damage or repairs to the handle.The hallmarks are lovely and clear with no wear from polishing.The interior of the mug is clean.The christening mug holds liquids well with no leaks.Overall an outstanding christening mug which is ready to be used.
