Description
A superb vintage Globe Powder Compact, circa the 1950s.
It comes with it\'s original drawstring bag in an olive coloured taffeta type material.
It is made from polished yellow metal brass metal with engraved world map markings.
No visible maker\'s markings.
The countries ( Rhodesia & Persia) suggest the date line.
Internally, it has original mirror and powder puff.
The Compact is exceptionally well made & finished with good and secure opening function.
Some light wear consistent with age.
It measures approx. 1.75 x 1.75 ins.
Thisvery fine vintage powder Compact would make the finest addition to any collection.
