This listing is for a hand cast, hand painted figurine of the first African-American justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Thurgood Marshall, made to match the classic collectible Marx Toy Company figures of the 1950s and 60s. The figurine is 60mm tall (about 2 3/4 inches), weighs about an ounce, is cast from a resin plastic, and is painted with enamel paint. It has the name of the justice on the front of the base in raised letters. One photo above shows the figurine with a vintage Marx figurine of the president who appointed him.

Unlike the Marx figurines (of which tens of thousands were made), each of these figurines is individually and sequentially numbered on the underside of the base.
