This is a very cute antique hallmarked silver brooch with a hoseshoe design decoration. It would date to the late 19th century I would think. I can\'t read the hallmark apart from the lion for silver and it looks as though it is from Chester.The brooch is approx 36mm x 13mm. It is in very good vintage condition but the top and bottom \'bobbles\' are a bit squashed. This doesn\'t really show up when worn but can be seen in the close up photos. Would be good for a bride.
