Original Owner/Buyer 1972This dinning set has only been in one location, with one owner, and cared for regularly.This original Saarinen 1970\'s dinning room set is in overall good condition with some blemishes on the top surface but no gouges. Seat back material is in good condition, however, the seat cushions need to be repaired. There are six matching chairs that have \"BR 51\" on the bottom, see pictures. The chairs are comfortable and swivel freely. The bases are also in good condition without chips or excessive scuffs or markings. The measurements of the chairs are aprox. 32\" from floor to the top of the back and aprox. 17\" from floor to seat. The seats measure Aprox. 20\" wide and 16\" deep. The chair bases are 16\' in diameter and are marked with the signature Saarinen BR 51.The Table is 48\" in Diameter and 28\" high. The top of the table is wood and the base, 20\" in diameter, is metal and has the original factory white paint. PLEASE SEE PICTURES OF TABLE TOP FOR IMPERFECTIONS. All imperfections were the result of cleaning the table with improper cleaning products and methods. There is no excessive deep damage to the table top and no serious chips, cracks, or pits. This original SAARINEN dinning room Table and Chairs are in pretty good condition for their age, over 42 years with the original purchaser and home.
