8 month old Saddleback Leather Large Classic Briefcase in the new Tobacco leather.
The bag is in very good condition, already darkening and forming a rich patina. It\'s very stiff and still needs a lot of breaking in.
It\'s been treated once with both Chamberlain\'s #3 and #1 leather milk over the past few months, most recently with the #1 about a week ago. It\'s developed a very dark Tobacco brown color over the past 8 months which was enhanced after the recent treatment with leathermilk which you can see in the pictures.
This is not a light colored bag, its a handsome dark brown Tobacco in the sun and almost has a marbled appearance to it since the most recent leathermilk treatment which you can see if you look closely at the photos. Like all leathermilk treatments this should lighten over time with use but it\'s always been a darker Tobacco colored bag.
Please look closely at all the photos as the color varies on the lighting and your monitor, indoors the color is more of a dark brown. The leather itself is nice and smooth and will be coming to you from a pet free, non-smoking home.
This bag currently retails at Saddleback Leather for $610 + shipping. If you\'re looking to pick one up that is lightly used while saving yourself $120+ and knowing you\'re getting a bag with a rich dark Tobacco color then this is your bag.
As with all saddleback products the bag will still be under warranty for another 99 years and Saddleback will repair/replace it if there are any defects in their construction of the bag over that time.
