Beautiful icon \"Saint Anthony the Great\" - (Antonious, Antonius, Antonius) - Anthony the Great or Antony the Great (ca. 251–356), also known as Saint Anthony or Anthony of Egypt, Anthony the Abbot, Anthony of the Desert, Anthony the Anchorite, Anthony of Thebes, Abba Antonius (Ἀββᾶς Ἀντώνιος) and Father of All Monks, was a Christian saint from Egypt, a prominent leader among the Desert Fathers. 100% Hand Painted on Natural Wood. The icon is entirely made by hand using old iconography technology. Following the Byzantine Art traditions, every icon is layered with a linen cloth, glued and hand sanded to a smooth finish. Painted using tempera paint, gold leaf (vark, varak) and covered with protective varnish on top. Only highest quality materials used.
