Sami Briss was born in 1930 in Jassy, Romania.
From1949 untill 1954 he studied at the at the Art Academy of Bucharest.
Heleaves for Israël in 1959 and finally settles down in Paris in 1974, where helives and works to this day.
Brissparticipated in many exhibitions all over the world and his work can be foundin private collections as well as in collections of different museums.
