$209.99

Just in time for the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther\'s famous treatises, here we have a collection of late 17th and early 18th century English works against the Catholic Church. Recently released by the Library of Bath (I have an email from the library verifying it was legally withdrawn, which I will provide), it has fitting English heritage (with a bonus of one of the more interesting ex libris plates I\'ve seen).
Four works including:1. 1713 - A Catechism Truly Representing the Doctrines and Practices of the Church of Rome, With an Answer Thereunto by Dr. John Williams, Late Lord Bishop of Chichester - 107 numbered pages, rear verso advertisement for books printed by publisher2. 1686 - The Plausible Arguments of a Romish Priest Answered by an English Protestant (anonymous) - viii intro pages, 54 numbered pages3. 1687 - The Plausible Arguments of a Romish Priest from Antiquity Answered by The Author of the Answer to the Plausible Arguments (anonymous) - viii pages intro, 52 numbered pages4. 1713 - Popery a Novelty or The Protestant Religion More Ancient by A Protestant of the Church of England (anonymous) - 32 numbered pages.
