Samuel Zulkis, Painter. b.1914, Berlin. Immigrated to Eretz Israel1933. Died 1995.

Specialized in restoration of oil-paintings and graphics.

1944 - 1960: established a school for art together with theillustrator Elizabeth Herman from Vienna(\"Zulkis-Herman studio\").

Dr. Samuel Zulkis began to paint in his early teens. Hereceived his education in Berlin, Germany, wherehe studied painting, history of art, medicine and philosophy.

He settled in Israel(Palestine) in 1933and soon established an art studio where he worked and taught the art ofpainting to many advanced students. He exhibited his work with success in Israel and Europe.
