Presented is a terrific Mexicansterling silver tea/coffee set made by the highly regarded Mexico City silversmiths,Sanborns. The set is masterfully well wrought, with rosewood handles, in a Danish modern style, a la Georg Jensen. The set has great weight for its size,and includes: Coffee pot or teapot: 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the rim, 9 1/4inches wide across the handle and 6 inches tall; creamer: 3 1/8 inches indiameter at the rim, 6 inches wide across the handle, 2 inches tall; sugar bowl:3 1/2 inches in diameter at the rim, 4 3/4 inches wide across the handles, and1 3/4 inches tall. Each piece is marked on the underside with \"Sanborns, Mexico,Sterling, 0.925, Hecho in Mexico\". There is a crack in the wooden handle on thepot, but the handle is structurally sound. The crack is only visible on oneside of the handle. Otherwise, the condition is excellent. There are no dents,no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
