Antique Red Wool felt German Santa Claus Blue paper mache belsnickle Authentic

He is amazing and certainly old. He is believed to be early 1900’s in age. His hands are reddish color. The raised hand is missing the tips of his fingers. He has a paper belt, red wool felt jacket and blue/gray pants. The shoes have some wear and nicks on the paint. The arms and legs have wire while the body is rolled paper like small sticks. His staff appears to be wood. 9 inches tall from shoes to tip of the hat. Overall he is in good vintage condition with some wear on the felt but no tears. The belt is missing part of the back as you can see in the last few pictures. He was purchased at an estate sale in Vermont from a non smoking home.
