Description: Sapsaree dog made by Hagen-Renaker, a California pottery. About 2\" high x 1 7/8\" long. Designed by Robert McGuinness and 1st made in 2003. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. White spots in photos are from light reflections.The sapsaree is a rare breed in the US. It lookssimilar toan Old English sheepdog or bearded collie, but it is a Korean breed. Traditionally thought to dispel ghosts and evil spirits. Another very cute Hagen-Renaker figure.
