Black and white soft cover folded booklet with photo of a spouting geyser spread over the front and back covers. No actual publication date was found. Automobile styles in photos any many references to dates in the 1930\'s, suggests it was published in the 1930\'s. 24 full pages fold to 48 panels.
Through informative text and vintage black & white photos, the booklet gives the reader an idea of history of the spa as well as its purported medicinal benefits. The centerfold is a four panel aerial illustration of the Spa\'s complex.From Wikipedia: The Saratoga Springs area has the only active spouting geysers east of the Mississippi River. The mineral springs for which the area is famous arise from fissures in the Saratoga Fault, which runs 65 miles (105km) from Whitehall to Albany. The carbonated water which vents in springs and geysers is rich in minerals and salts. The Spa was named a State Park in 1962. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1987.The booklet is in good condition. Binding is tight. Modest wear to the covers...there is a small tear and a notation in ink on the front cover.
