It sports a wonderful dark stain with several natural highlights. It has a pebble grain rustication that has been very well done. The tapered stem has a briar accent band that distinguishes it nicely. It is a nice bent Rhodesian (some would say Bulldog) shape which is a favorite to many a smoker and collector. This pipe is very comfortable and easy to hold. The chamber on this pipe is large and is surrounded by very thick walls on the bowl which should lend itself to a cooler smoke. The tenon/mortice relationship is great. This pipe feels incredibly solidly built and is made to the high standard that has placed the Savinelli brand in the ranks of the top pipe manufacturers in the world. It is refurbished and ready to be smoked with your favorite Tobacco. It will definitely make a nice addition to your collection/rotation. This pipe does accept the Savinelli balsa wood filters or 6mm filters if you use them.Measurements are approximate:
