Thisgorgeous sterling silver ring shows peyote bird or water bird in flight madewith turquoise and coral chip inlay and surrounded with classical Tommy Singerstamping designs.

The incrediblytalented jewelry designer Tommy Singer was the inventor of the chip inlaytechnique. Not only is this ring createdwith a great example of turquoise and coral chip inlay, you can see TommySinger was a master silversmith as well!

Chip inlay is a method where cavities in jewelry are filled with amixture of crushed stone, typically turquoise and coral, and epoxy resin. Thepiece is then polished smooth after the resin has hardened.

Thering is not marked .925 or sterling, but has been tested positive with nomarks or cosmetic damage to the piece.It is common for the sterling markto be missing in early Native American vintage pieces.
