Offered at sale is a scarce 1920\'s-1930\'s papier mache tom turkey candy container made in Germany. It measures 4 5/8\" long, 4\" wide, 5 5/8\" tall to the top of the tail feathers. It is hand painted in black, white, red, orange, yellow and blue. The piece is marked \"Germany\" and is guaranteed old and as described. It is in very good condition with no breaks or repairs, and the only damage is a chip off the paint on the inside of one of the wings which extends down. Otherwise, very minor paint loss. The head is excellent and fits pretty well. His feet are fine and he stands well. Hard to find container, especially in this condition. Thanks for looking.
