An Original Patina Marked \"1844 - N.P. AMES\" (pics. 10,11) Peace Powder Flask with 26 stars , clasped hands , eagle and U.S.shield with weapons and Flags !! Very hard to find one of these that has not beenstripped of its original surface ! This one appears in most if not all dark oxidized surface ! Spout \"tip\" is missing and pin on graduatedloadspout .Closure lever works , it was 1/2 full powder for who knows how long (emptied) but has no spring tension !! Found in Tenn. .
