Up for sale is this Howard Miller desk clock. It looks like an eyeball. It measures 3.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide. Has a quartz movement, it runs, the alarm works, and looks to be in all original condition. This will not be shipped with a battery. Body is made of metal (brushed steel or brushed chromed plated cast metal as a magnet does not stick to the body) and the face is made of plastic. No damage but minimal wear found consistent with age.
When doing research on this clock I found that many people attribute the design to Irving Harper. It is said online that this is a very rare clock.
I have been selling vintage mid century modern furniture and objects since the early 1990\'s and am considered a local expert on the subject. I have sold many Howard Miller/Nelson clocks. This little clock is really clean, in great original shape, and straight from an estate. I hope it find a good home in a nice collection.
