We\'ve come across lots and lots of vintage diorama ornaments of various manufacture over the years, but this is one that takes the cake.
This is a shape we\'ve never come across, it\'s an open-bottomed lantern. A stunning tinsel insert holds a double-faced paper scrap oblaten, one a smiling boy, the other side a girl. Crown is hallmarked GERMANY.
Silver tinsel is heavily oxidized.
Enough said.
This beauty measures an approximate 3 1/2\" from stem to stern. Please be sure to use the zoom feature to see all the great details, as this ornament ships exactly as pictured. Very worn paint, lots of oxidizing, etc.
