Scarce oversized mug by Jugtown Pottery, Seagrove, North Carolina, early 20th century, the buff-yellow body of barrel form with applied handle, approx. 4-1/4\" tall by 4-3/8\" in diameter overall. A few usual tiny superficial glaze flakes to rim (not affecting body and noted only for strictest accuracy), and fine allover crazing, otherwise fine, attractive condition, with no cracks or chips.

Quite uncommon in this combination of form, unusually large size, and body color.
