Hello and thank you for observing this cuckoo clock.

This is a Schneider German one day Musical Cuckoo Clock with platform dancers, a turning waterwheel and a beer drinker.

Schneider is my favorite of the German cuckoo clock companies.

Anton Schneider began producing cuckoo clocks in 1848 in his farmhouse in Schonach. The Schneider family business is now in the 6th generation and has been producing high value cuckoo clocks at its current location since 1952.

This clock shows signs of little use and is in excellent working condition.

On the hour and half an hour this cuckoo clock will cuckoo and play one of two songs, Edelweiss and the Happy Wanderer. At this time the platform dancers will turn and rotate and the waterwheel will turn.

As the cuckoo announces the time the beer drinker will raise and lower his mug.

This can be seen on the video shown below to see the clock in action and hear the music.

I have taken out the movement and music box and cleaned and oiled them and also cleaned all of the hardware.

The measurements are 12 inches

Height, 10 inches Width, and 6 1/2 inches Depth without the pendulum attached.

It has three 320 gram weights, which will need to be drawn up daily.

I pack my clocks well using new cardboard boxes, new packing peanuts, and new bubble wrap plastic. I also insure every package and include instructions for setting up and operation of the cuckoo clock.
