This lot consists of a Scott #4664-65 Forever First Class Rate The Civil War (1862: A Nation Touched with Fire) Self-Adhesive Vertical Se-Tenant Pair in Mint, Never Hinged condition. These stamps were printed in 2012 to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the U.S. Civil War and are the second se-tenant pair in a set of five for the series. The USPS plans to print a new souvenir sheet each year until 2015 to commemorate the 5-year long war. This pair has two different stamps: The Battle of New Orleans (April 24 - May 1, 1862) and The Battle of Antietam (September 17, 1862). The picture shows the type of stamps (not the actual pair) offered for sale in the order depicted. The set is also available as a horizontal se-tenant pair and as single stamps under separate listings in my store. All stamps are in F/VF condition or better (no tears) and have original unblemished gum. All stamps are shipped flat between layers of cardboard to prevent damage.
