Offered here for your consideration is a Scottish Arts & Crafts sterling silver mounted wooden bowl by Elizabeth H Kirkwood. Theturned maple bowl has a central sterling silver plaque with a Celtic Arts & Crafts design. The silver is hallmarked for Elizabeth Henry Kirkwood, Edinburgh, and 1939.
The bowl is in overall good to fair used estate condition with no cracks or repairs. The finish has started to separate from the wood in several places. Otherwise, there are light glaze and surface scratches and scuffing here and there and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
