*Likely made in the early 1900\'s. It has most of its original black paint.

*Works on either left or right swinging door.

*Screw the one end fast and wind the other with a pin or a finish nail in the holes to the strength that you want to close the door. Put a pin into the hole to hold the spring strength.

*It is 8 7/8\" long from tip to tip and 1 1/8\" wide.
