Seldom Seen Framed Image of CBGB Music Club in New York By Leroy Neiman:
$42.99

From the early days of punk rock and new wave bands like the Ramones, Patti Smith Group, Blondie, and Talking Heads, we are offering a seldom seen framed bookplate image of the famed CBGB music club in New York by renowned artist Leroy Neiman. Taken from his sketch he first did in 1980, Leroy has captured a great on-stage image of a guitar player in action. First opened in 1973 in Manhattan\'s East Village, the letters CBGB stood for Country, Blue Grass, and Blues, but that all changed when Punk and New Wave hit the musical scene. Through the years and various changes, the club finally closed in 2006 with Patti Smith giving the final concert. In 2013 the club was put on the National Registry of Historic Places as part of the National Bowery historic District. Custom matted and framed to the size of 8 x 10, it has fine colors, clarity and detail, with no condition issues. We strive for the ultimate in customer satisfaction, and will do everything we can to make your buying experience a very pleasant and easy one. Thanks so much for looking.
