Set 10 SOLID Silver SHOOTING PEG or Butt Markers, ASPREY Retail. Birm. 2000:

A fine set of solid silver shooting peg markers, in a brown leather wallet, which has \'ASPREY LONDON\' written on it in gold lettering. The pegs are numbered 1-10 and would be used to decide which peg each shooter would stand at, on the first drive of a game shoot.
Hallmarks: The pegs are English sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 2000 (Anchor, Date Letter a, 925 and 2000 logo). The maker\'s mark \'C N & S\' is unknown. Dimensions: The pegs are 5.9cm long, and weigh c.3.3 grams each (33grams combined).
Condition: A couple of the pegs are slightly bent at the tips (see photo). No splits or repairs.
