Set 2 ROYAL GRAFTON FINE BONE CHINA MUGS. ENGLAND. Columbus Landing. VERY RARE:

NEW! IN MINT CONDITION! 1992!

This SET OF 2 beautiful cups/mugs were made by the prestigious Royal Grafton company to commemorate the 500th Anniversary
of the landing of Christopher Columbus on San Salvador in the New World on Oct. 12, 1492. They were made in England from fine bone china.

VERY RARE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND, the cups are gold-rimmed with gold trim on the handle. There are some marks on the outside bottom
of the cups from standing in a cupbord for 20 years, but otherwise they are in PRISTINE conditon with NO marks, cracks, chips, fading, or crazing.

An old-fashioned map of the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Florida and South America is shown on the front of the mugs. The map depicts Columbus\'s
voyages from the Old World to the New. On the back of mugs are the words: \"500th Anniversary\" and the Columbus coat of arms, which was granted
to Christopher Columbus on May 20, 1493, just a year after he discovered the New World.

The 8 oz. mugs are 3-1/2\" high and approximately 4\" wide, including the handle. Check the bottom of the cups to find the dates being commemorated
and the maker\'s marks. Please see pictures. There are also numbers--the number \"2\" on one and \"14\" on the other.

These mugs, bought in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas in 1992, are VERY RARE and IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND! They are the perfect addition to any
fine china collection, but would be especially welcome in collections about the Bahamas and the Caribbean, or Christopher Columbus, or the history of the
New World. And with the items being in such excellent, perfect condition, they are an incredible find for any collection!

These 2 RARE Royal Grafton Fine Bone China coffee cups/mugs come from my own private collection and have been stored securely in a smoke-free
