On our travels this past summer, weacquired 3 sets of lithographed on wood Children\'s Blocks. I will sell each setseparately but have shown all three in one of the photos.

This is a scarce complete set of 6different Brownie puzzles in their original wood box. I have included a photoof the top puzzle (skating) and pictures of one of the other scenes that can bemade (The Dance). The otherpuzzles include \'Hauling the Yule Log\', \'ChristmasDinner\', \'Snowballing\' and \'Blindman\'s Bluff\'.. Each has a different colour ofborder to help you solve the puzzle. Colorfullithographed pictures are attached to each side of the 20 wooden blocks. Palmer Cox was born in 1840 near the Scottish settlement of GranbyQuebec. Like many others, he left for the States after his school years to seekfame and fortune, returning to his Granby home in the last years of his life.For the first five years, advertising for the new Kodak Brownie camera featuredthe little characters created by Cox. ( He was not reimbursed for the use ofhis brownies).

Condition: Played with condition, see photos. Wear to the edges from age and use. Puzzle blocks are worn, rubbed, chipped andpeeling The box top has gone missing as wellas the pictures of the various puzzles (see photos, ask if you want morephotos)

Approximate Dimensions: Box: Width 11\", Length 13 1/2\", Height 3\" The individualblocks each measure 2.5\" x 2.5\" x 2.5\".
