Selling a set of six very nice used vintage late 1940s/ early 1950s painted wood croquet balls in good condition, ready to play. These ridged surface croquet balls are decorated in bright primary colors with white striping. These handsome antique croquet balls are multi purpose. If you want to be artistic, put them in an old wood salad bowl and use as a sculpture display against a white wall. In case of home invasion, put a couple in a strong sack and bean him with them over and over until he stops moving. Of course you can use them with that old croquet set in the garage which has most of the balls missing. When I was a child (many, many years ago) I used to play croquet with my Grandparents on my Uncle Gus\' lawn in Oakland, NJ, by the Ramapo River. Even my stout, elderly Grandmother was able to play this (usually) genteel game and I have many happy memories of playing croquet with painted croquet balls just like these with my relatives.
