These pieces have a 3 dimensional nautical nouveau decoration through both front and back of the handle (shells, flowers, seaweed, etc). Both pieces are engraved with abstract, nouveau floral bright-cut work.Of superb intricacy and design. A perfect example of Gorham 19th Century quality. In very fine antique condition. We believe that these two pieces were a special order by a private individual. The total weight of these antique, Sterling Silver, Gorham Fish Servers is 4.6 oz. The fork measures 7-3/4 inches in length and the tynes are 2 inches, at the widest point. The server measures 10-1/2 inches in length and the blade is 2-1/2 inches, at the widest point. They are both engraved with the letter B at the top of the handle. They are marked with the makers mark for Gorham, sterling. 7% Sales Tax Applies to Florida residents.
