This is a great item for the collector of vintage Christmas packaging - Set of 8 1920\'s Foil Christmas Seals in Original Box from Old Store Stock. Two cardboard boxes with Holly design measure 4\" wide x 2-1/2\" high x 1/8\" - 1 contains 4 seals and the other is empty. There are 6 foil boxes which have a gummed seal pasted on the lid. Four boxes contain colorful foil seals (2 w/ a girl have 8 seals each, 1 w/ a puppy has 8 seals & 1 w/ a wine bottle has 12 seals, the other 2 are empty. These seals are with the original store display box which measures 9-1/2\" x 12\" x 2\" high. Storekeeper notes on the box indicate that the foil seals sold for 10 cents and the holly boxes for 15 cents. I bought these at the 1972 sale of the Harvey Thomas Store (1877-1972), Conneaut Lake, PA. They probably date to the 1920\'s. These vintage boxes are in good condition for the age. The display box has some stains, wear marks, corner tears and paper separation. One of the holly boxes has a tear across the label and the gummed seal are sticking together.
