After Henry Alken The First Steeplechase on Record Aquatint set of four aquatints prints published by Ben Brooks March 1st 1839 engraved by J Harris.

The large prints are in period carved wooden frames. The frames are 23 by 19 1/2 inches. The images are 14 by 11 inches. The set of four weighs approximately 20 lbs (shipping weight 25 lbs).

Condition: Two prints very clean and bright; two with some noticeable toning, as shown.The original backs have been replaced by cardboard. Some rubbing and wear on the frames.
